Beauty blogger who suffers from acne hails new £5 foundation stick

A beauty blogger has hailed a new £5 foundation stick - claiming that it's better than its high-end counterparts.

Kadeeja Khan, who suffers from acne, described Makeup Revolution's foundation as 'god sent' - explaining how you only need 'one light layer of it'.

In a video, the Birmingham-based Instagram star showed just how easy the foundation is to apply using the stick.

The Makeup Revolution foundation stick, which will hit stores on Wednesday, has already been praised for coming in 18 different shades.

Posting on Instagram, Kadeeja explained: 'I never in a million years would think my go to foundation would be a drugstore product! I always thought the more expensive the product the better the outcome!

'@makeuprevolution foundation is GOD SENT. This foundation is ONLY £5! It has the same coverage or even better than some high end products!

'You only need one light layer of it & your good to go!'

Explaining how difficult she finds it to pick a foundation for her acne-prone skin, she added: 'I don’t want a foundation that makes my acne look worse than what it is.

'I don’t want a foundation that can see my green corrector beneath. I want a foundation that can lock in my discolouration & prone acne'

Other beauty bloggers have also praised the foundation stick - for its packaging, as well as its results.

NikkisSecretx posted on Instagram: '@makeuprevolution fast base foundation sticks are BOMB! £5 for these badboys... 18 shades may I add!'

Ijé, who runs the Beauty Frezny blog, added: 'Can we just take a moment to admire the packaging of the upcoming Fast Base Foundation Sticks?'
